MODERN MASKS

They are weights that balance out one’s internal upheavals. This series is a way of looking at human duality through portraiture, as external (light and shadow) as well as internal (psychological). Irony, Skepticism, Grudge, or Cynicism, all are reactions, or masks, which serve to equilibrate, and not stumble on one’s weaknesses, falling onto his/her actual face.
