Two days of utter bliss with markers, inks, and a pack of carton I purchased in 2017 and left hanging until I find the way to make the best of it.
I created over 50 one line drawings, afterwords filling them out and adding some details wherever needed. At first I only used black line on carton, but after a while realized that there should be more detail, so I picked up white ink. These three colors (black, white, and carton tan) gave me the essential base, shadow and highlight.
I didn't plan on spending a bunch of time on my first drawing, nor I planned a series of these, but, as it often happens with me, drawing hunger took its toll, and I am left with a healthy load of portraits, aching drawing hand, and satisfaction from all this work.
